Because of your support, our library received a percentage of the total sales that day, which totaled $564.86!! This is incredible! As a result, we wanted to share a photo taken at the start of the school year, when Sunny Hills was given a life saving donation of an Automatic External Defribrilator (AED) . An AED is a portable device that delivers an electric shock through the chest to restart a heart that has stopped beating. Emergency Supply KitsThe school district provides basic first aid supplies for use in the event of an extended emergency, but does not budget in for anything else. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EACH STUDENT HAVE AN EMERGENCY SUPPLY KIT/48-HOUR KIT that includes food, water, blankets, lights, etc. The PTA purchases the supplies for these kits each year for use at school in the event of an emergency.
