Hello Sunny Hills Community! 

Please join the Sunny Hills PTA, teachers, and student council in supporting the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank by donating a food item or two, October 25th - November 8th or a $25 gift card for their Holiday Gift Program! 

Fall Food Drive:

The highest need items have been split into grade groups, but please feel free to donate any items from the list. Containers will be placed in the front foyer of the school on the upper and lower levels. Thank you for your support of our Fall Food Drive!

Holiday Gift Program:

 Sunny Hills will also be gathering donations for the Holiday Gift Program through the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank.

In a Food Bank client survey, 85% of respondents said they prefer getting gift cards to assist with holiday needs for their families instead of physical gifts, as it allows families to purchase the perfect gift for their children. With rising costs of all essential needs, this program is critical for so many families in our community.

The number of families and children served by the Food Bank’s Holiday Gift Program has steadily increased since 2020 and they are estimating participation from 600 families and over 1600 children this season.

Our Sunny Hills community can help by collecting the following: 

  • $25 Gift Cards from Amazon, Fred Meyer, or Target
  • 8, 10 or 12 count boxes of markers or crayons

The Holiday Gift Program donation box will be located in the office through 11/8. Thank you so much for helping to make the holidays brighter for other families in our community!
