Why Should I Join the PTA? 

When parents are involved with their child’s education, the child is more likely to succeed. Joining the PTA demonstrates your support of the mission and goals of the PTA and entitles you to “voice and vote”.  Each year, we aspire to attain 100% membership which means we have an adult PTA member for every Sunny Hills' student. We have a long standing tradition of achieving this goal each year!

  • Joining does not obligate you to do anything more than that.  Please join and show that you care and are invested in the welfare of our children.

  • You are not required to volunteer – but we’d love it if you did!

  • 100% membership allows for every child to have a voice.  This sends a message to the Legislature in Olympia that our school and district are made up of parents who are concerned and involved.

  • PTA is the largest child advocacy group in the United States. - Help us advocate for every child!

  • Added bonus: All PTA members receive a copy of the Sunny Hills' Student Directory.  You must be a PTA member to receive a FREE copy of the directory.  Directory will be provided in paper form as well as on-line to members.

The cost of a PTA family membership is only $20, which includes 2 adults.  A portion of your membership dues are sent to the Washington State PTA and help offset administrative costs.  PTA Programs at Sunny Hills are made possible through our fundraising efforts.
