Dear Sunny Hills Families,

Our much-loved Clay Art program needs your help! 

Clay Art is a PTA-supported, parent volunteer-led enrichment program that gives every Sunny Hills student the opportunity to create special clay projects throughout the school year.

To offer Clay Art this year, we need volunteer leadership in place for every grade level — and we still have a few important roles to fill.

No art or clay experience is necessary! Lesson plans, materials, and support are provided. You don't need to be an artist — just willing to help organize and bring this special experience to our students.

We are currently seeking:

Clay Art Docent Chair – A parent volunteer to help coordinate and support the schoolwide Clay Art program.

 3 Grade-Level Parent Leads – We currently have three grade levels that each need a parent volunteer to lead and coordinate their grade's Clay Art lessons.

Clay Art is one of those special Sunny Hills experiences made possible entirely through the support of our parent volunteers. In addition to Clay Art, the PTA also supports an Art Docent-led program, helping ensure our students receive engaging, quality art lessons throughout the school year.
