Each year the Sunny Hills PTA recognizes and awards exceptional community members. The awards are:

  1. Golden Acorn Award - PTA award whose winners are recognized for dedication and service to children and youth in ways that meet the mission of PTA: promoting the health, welfare, safety and education of ALL children. To nominate a volunteer for the Golden Acorn Award, please click HERE and fill out the form and submit.

  2. Outstanding Advocate - Recognized for advocacy and commitment in helping to create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth. To nominate an Outstanding Advocate, please click HERE and fill out the form and submit.

  3. Outstanding Educator - Presented for significant contributions in their community to enhance the educational outcomes of all children or youth. To nominate an Outstanding Educator, please click HERE and fill out the form and submit.
    An Educator may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, administrator, or community member
