While you’re spring cleaning, clean out those closets and shoe racks for a good cause!

Sunny Hills is helping to support a former student’s initiative called Care for Tukwila. Several current Skyline students (including one Sunny Hills alum) started Care for Tukwila with the sole mission of raising funds for a refugee camp located at Riverton Park United Methodist church in Tukwila.

Care for Tukwila has partnered with a non-profit organization called GotSneakers which helps to raise funds in exchange for athletic/tennis shoes and Sunny Hills is joining other donation locations within our community to aid in this effort.

From June 2nd through the end of the year, drop boxes will be located in the entryway and main level of Sunny Hills.

Remember - it’s only athletic shoes (running, basketball, gym/training, cleats, casual, and hiking shoes) and they can be in any condition but they do have to be in pairs (no singles).
