At Tuesday's Sunny Hills Elementary PTA General Membership Meeting, SHPTA members voted to endorse the ISD Bond.

What’s in the Bond?

The Issaquah School District is asking the community to consider a school modernization and construction bond in the November 5, 2024, election. Since school construction and modernization receive minimal funding from the state, districts often rely on local, voter-approved bonds. The funding from this bond would be used to modernize buildings and infrastructure, ensuring that every student in our district has access to secure schools and innovative learning experiences that prepare them for the future. Additionally, this bond funding will help preserve our investment in facilities and ensure efficient, sustainable operations.

The bond proposal was developed with input from over 60 community members, parents, staff, and students who volunteered on the district's Bond Advisory Committee during a three-month period in the spring.
