We are hosting a Yearbook Cover Contest for students to show off their art skills and submit artwork for the yearbook. Students, here are some tips for a great cover design:
1) Use a sheet of white printer paper that is 8.5"x11".
2) Draw in pencil first and then trace over with pen/marker.
3) Make sure to erase all pencil marks when done.
4) Try to stay within the lines of your drawing while coloring.
5) Keep all important text & artwork away from the edge.
6) Be creative and have fun!
Please make sure your name and teacher is written in PENCIL on the back of the artwork. The cover submission is due Wednesday, 2/24 – feel free to drop it off in the office before then, or bring it with you to drop off at Materials Distribution.
